Oz Dog #6269

This dog’s chest was surgically opened and radio frequency ablation was done. The day after the surgery, records show that she was able to walk, but the misery was just beginning …

Day 2: “Animal is unable to move hind legs, cannot stand up … placed urinary catheter.”
Day 3: “K-9 still unable to move rear end or hind legs, tail and left hind cleaned of urine, urine bag emptied and placed back on. Left side down all night/placed on R side.”
Day 4: “Condition the same.”
Day 5: “Lethargic, vomit present in cage, no BM, urine catheter bag was full, urine clear, condition remains the same, still unable to move hind legs.”
Day 6: “Lethargic, no vomit present, did not eat overnight, looking very thin, towels soaked with urine, no stool, paralysis remains the same, no improvement, urine very bloody, no stool.” The dog was put into a sling and left there overnight.
Day 7: “Lethargic, small amount of stool, gave 10cc euthanasia solution I.V. #18.1.”

Lucky Dog #6269—only seven days of suffering.
